After four months of waiting, the hotly anticipated KITH x Nike Air force 1 “Tokyo” is finally dropping this weekend… but there’s a catch. Made to celebrate the grand opening of Ronnie Fieg’s Shibuya flagship, it pays homage to the legendary CO.JP releases from the early ’00s.

Inspired by the Japanese flag, the “Tokyo” features a clean white tumbled leather upper packed full of intricate details. KITH’s iconic box logo is peppered across the lateral and medial side panels, while a tiny red Nike Swoosh is embroidered in front of a much larger one near the toe.

Across the tongue and heel you’ll find “KITH AIR” co-branding, while the inner lining of the Air force 1 is done up in a soft velvet that’s as glamorous as it gets. To round it all off, the Air midsole has been given an “aged” aesthetic for a vintage vibe, finalising the breathtaking design.

If you need the KITH x Nike Air force 1 “Tokyo” in your collection then you’re going to want to listen up. As we expected, it’s going to launch exclusively in Japan on July 4th. pairs will be available via appointment only and will retail for around £120 a pop. let us know if you’ll be going for these, and if you’re nowhere near Japan, don’t worry as more KITH x Nike Air force 1s are on the way!
