new balance are doing big things with the freshly announced 2002R silhouette. following a major collaboration with BAPE and the release of the “Protection” Pack, the Boston-based footwear brand has now tapped The Basement for the The Basement x new balance 2002R, and the results are really breathtaking.

Unveiled in two clean cut colourways including “Cream” and “Green”, the pairs work atop a soft suede base while premium leather panels wrap around the mid-section of the shoe. visible stitching provides up a sartorial aesthetic, while beefed up mudguards at the toebox and heel make everything that little bit much more rugged and ready.

We managed to get our hands on a pair of these sought after sneakers, so be sure to check out our unboxing and review below!
